Product Description:Premium-quality fetal bovine serum is sourced from healthy cattle raised on high-quality Australian pastures. Cattle are raised on high-quality pastures in Australia, and blood is collected from unborn fetal calves via cardiac puncture. The serum is produced through a process involving centrifugation and triple 0.1-μm filtration, followed by rigorous quality testing across multiple parameters, including BVDV (Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus) and other viral tests, as well as assessments of mycoplasma, endotoxin, performance, and biochemical analysis. This grade of serum contains the growth factors essential for embryonic development and exhibits low immunoglobulin levels.The serum is dialyzed against 0.15 M NaCl using 10,000-Da molecular weight cut-off filters until the glucose level falls below 5 mg/dL. This procedure reduces the levels of low molecular weight components. Extensive dialysis is avoided to prevent precipitation and inactivation of serum peptides.
