We confirm the quality of our Powdered Classical Basal Media by evaluating samples from each batch as required by specifications. Samples are prepared in 1× liquid form, and membrane filtration is performed, and testing may include endotoxin level, solubility, osmolality and pH. The values for these parameters are determined using the test conditions described for Powdered Classical Basal Media, and the medium is formulated without sodium bicarbonate to enhance stability.
