Product Description:
Premium-quality newborn calf serum is sourced from cattle raised on high-quality Australian pastures. Intravenous blood is collected from newborn calves aged 2–3 weeks old. All batches are processed and produced locally. The product is sterilized via three-stage 0.1 μm filtration. It undergoes comprehensive quality testing, including BVD viral screening, mycoplasma detection, endotoxin assay, performance verification and biochemical analysis.
Gamma radiation can effectively inactivate potentially contaminated viruses and mycoplasma in serum. The irradiation dose is 30–45 kGy. Importantly, this dose of gamma radiation does not alter the physical and chemical properties of the serum or its efficacy in cell culture.
