It is produced from blood collected via cardiac puncture of unborn bovine fetuses, processed by centrifugation and triple 0.1 μm filtration, and subjected to comprehensive quality testing, including BVDV (Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus) and a panel of viral tests, mycoplasma screening, endotoxin assay, cell growth performance validation, and biochemical analysis.
This serum grade contains essential growth factors supporting embryonic development and features low immunoglobulin levels. Superior Quality Low-IgG Fetal Bovine Serum is further processed using chromatographic techniques to remove gamma globulins. Following this treatment, IgG is effectively depleted, with final IgG levels below 5 μg/mL.
