Product Description:
A-10 is a high performance growth medium developed and optimized for cultivation of amniotic fluid cells and other hard-to-cultivate cell lines. When used correctly, A-10 medium will support optimal growth of amniotic fluid cells. It is used together with the A-10 supplement which is composed of various hormones and growth factors that have been demonstrated to meet the satisfy specific metabolic requirements for the culture of cells in vitro. Although it is relatively low in protein, A-10 supplement is effective in promoting and sustaining growth of hard-to-cultivate cell lines. Each user must make an independent assessment on whether this medium is suitable for use in their laboratory and Wisent does not guarantee successful results for any diagnostic procedure.

Instructions For Use:
Preparation Instructions:
This material is intended for cell culture. Handle the solution using aseptic technique.
1. Completely thaw frozen supplement ( CTA.NO: 150-910-QL ) and swirl to ensure homogenous liquid.
2. Aseptically add entire contents of A-10 supplement (CTA.NO: 150-910-QL) to an A-10 basal medium (CTA.NO: 150-90-CL) bottle.
3. Gently swirl to ensure homogenous liquid. Avoid foaming.
4. The medium is now ready to use. No other supplementation is necessary.
Note: Supplement A-10 (CTA.NO: 150-910-QL) contains gentamycin.
Storage Conditions:
A-10 Basal Medium is stable for 18 months when stored in the dark at 2℃ to 8 ℃.
A-10 Supplement should be stored at -25℃ to -15℃.
