We measure the osmolality and pH of all batches to verify compliance with product specifications, and confirm the absence of bacterial and fungal contamination following the method specified in the current edition of the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) <Sterility Tests> monograph. Endotoxin levels are determined by the Limulus amoebocyte lysate (LAL) assay.
