Iscove's/Ham's F-12 Medium is a binary nutrient medium prepared by mixing equal volumes of IMDM (Iscove's Modified Dulbecco's Medium) and Ham's F-12 (Ham's F-12 Nutrient Mixture). It features richer nutrition and wider applications.
This WISENT medium contains amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts and other components required for cell culture. It contains no proteins, lipids or growth factors; therefore, it must be supplemented with serum or serum-free supplements.
