Product Description:W21 Supplement (50×) is an optimized serum-free supplement used to support the growth and viability of embryonic, postnatal, and adult hippocampal and other central nervous system (CNS) neurons. W21 Supplement is supplied as a liquid and is intended to be used with NeuroCell Medium to culture nearly pure neuronal populations (<0.5% glial cells) without the need for an astrocyte feeder layer. W21 Supplement contains an antioxidant cocktail to reduce oxidative damage caused by reactive oxygen species.

Preparation Instructions:
Neuro Cell Medium is recommended for primary neuronal cultures. Neuro Cell Medium requires supplementation with W21 Supplement prior to use. Thaw W21 Supplement overnight at 2 to 8℃. This product is 50× concentrated solution, please aseptically dilute it as needed before use.
