Product Description:F-12K medium is a modified version of Hams F-12 medium that contains a variety of ingredients not found in traditional basal media, such as putrescine, thymidine, hypoxanthine, and higher levels of amino acids and sodium pyruvate. After the addition of these components, for some cell types, only a very small amount of serum or a well-defined component needs to be added to the medium.
