Product Description:DMEM (Dulbeccos Modified Eagle Medium) is a widely used basal medium. High-glucose DMEM supplemented with GlutaPlus (L-Alanyl-L-Glutamine) is an optimized formulation based on standard DMEM. In addition to the basic nutrients of DMEM, this product uses GlutaPlus (L-Alanyl-L-Glutamine) instead of L-glutamine, providing cells with a more stable glutamine source that reduces toxic ammonia accumulation during culture. It can support the growth of various mammalian cells. Cells successfully cultured in DMEM include primary fibroblasts, neurons, glial cells, HUVECs, and smooth muscle cells, as well as cell lines such as HeLa, 293, COS-7, and PC-12. This product contains various components required for cell culture, including amino acids, vitamins, and inorganic salts, but does not contain proteins, lipids or growth factors. Therefore, this product must be supplemented with serum additives; typically, 10%–20% fetal bovine serum (FBS) is added.
