Product Description:High-quality fetal bovine serum (FBS) is derived from cattle raised on premium New Zealand pastures. Blood is collected via cardiac puncture of unborn bovine fetuses, followed by centrifugation and three 0.1-μm filtration steps. It is then subjected to comprehensive quality testing, including BVDV (Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus) and a panel of viral assays, as well as mycoplasma screening, endotoxin quantification, performance evaluation, and biochemical analysis. This grade of serum contains the growth factors necessary for embryonic development and has low immunoglobulin levels.High-quality fetal bovine serum utilizes chromatographic techniques to remove gamma globulin. Following this treatment, IgG is removed, and the IgG level is lower than 5 μg/mL.
