Product Description:

Keratinocyte Growth Factor (KGF) , also designated FGF-7, is a member of the FGFs family. It was originally isolated and purified from the culture supernatant of human embryonic lung fibroblasts. KGF is secreted by mesenchymal cells of diverse origins, while its receptors are exclusively expressed on epithelial cells.  As a potent epithelial-specific mitogen, KGF primarily stimulates the proliferation of keratinocytes. It plays critical roles in multiple biological processes, including embryonic development, epithelial cell proliferation, migration and differentiation, organ development,  wound healing, tumorigenesis and immune reconstruction.

WISENT KGF, with a molecular weight of 19.0kD, is produced in rice endosperm cells through gene recombination technology, followed by rigorous purification.

Storage conditions:

This product is stable for 24 months when stored in the dark at -25℃ to -15℃. This product is in the form of freeze-dried powder. After dissolution, it can be stored at 4 ℃ for 2-7 days. Please keep it below -20℃ for long-term use. For long-term storage, it is recommended to add carrier protein (0.1% BSA) and sub-pack it as appropriate to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

 

Preparation Instructions:

Resolution with sterile water at a concentration of no less than 100 µg/mL is recommended. Customers can make further dilution with other solvents according to the subsequent experimental requirements.
