BSA are generally used as stabilizers to limit the preservation and reaction of enzymes or modified enzymes, because some enzymes are unstable or low in activity at low concentrations. When the BSA is added, it may play the role of quot; protection & quot; carrier and many enzymes can greatly improve their activity after adding BSA. No need to add BSA enzymes BSA generally will not be affected. for most substrate DNA, BSA can make the enzyme digestion more complete and can achieve repeated cleavage. BSA can make the enzyme more stable when the enzyme digestion reaction exceeds 1 h in 37℃, because in the reaction buffer without BSA, many restriction endonuclease can only survive 10& quot; 20min or less at 37℃. while BSA can bind metal ions and other chemicals that inhibit restriction endonuclease activity in buffer or substrate DNA.
