Product Description:

Recombinant Human Epidermal Growth Factor is a kind of mitogenic polypeptide which stimulates division of epidermal and other cells.

EGF, with a molecular weight of 6.2kD, can induce a series of biochemical reactions in the cell after binding with the specific receptor EGFR located on the cell surface: increasing the concentration of calcium ions in the cell, promoting the progress of glycolysis, increasing the synthesis of proteins, and enhancing the expression of specific genes such as EGFR to promote the synthesis of DNA and cell proliferation.

Storage conditions:

This product is stable for 24 months when store in the dark at -25℃ to -15℃. This product is in the form of freeze-dried powder. After dissolution, it can be stored at 4 ℃ for 2-7 days. Please keep it below -20℃ for long-term use. For long-term storage, it is recommended to add carrier protein (0.1% BSA) and sub-pack it as appropriate to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

 

Preparation Instructions:

Resolution with sterile water at a concentration of no less than 100 µg/mL is recommended. Customers can make further dilution with other solvents according to the subsequent experimental requirements.
