Product Description：

ITS supplement contains Insulin, Transferrin and Sodium Selenite in Hank's Balanced Salt Solution ( HBSS ). ITS is know to promote optimal performance of serum-free media and reduce the need for serum supplementation of conventional media used in cell culture. It will enhance the growth of various adherent cells.

Insulin will promote the glucose and amino acid uptake, use, storage and lipogenesis. Transferrin will serve as a carrier of iron for the cells. Selenite is a co-factor for glutathione peroxidase and other proteins and is used as an anti-oxidant in media.

Instructions For Use:

It is recommended that 10 mL ITS 100× supplement is added to 1000 mL medium.
