Product Description:

F-12K medium is a modified version of Ham's F-12 medium that contains a variety of ingredients not found in traditional base medium, such as putsutrine, thymidine, hypoxanthine, and higher levels of amino acids and sodium pyruvate. After the addition of these components, for some cell types only a very small amount of serum or a well-defined component need be supplemented in the medium.
