Product Description:

L-glutamine is an amino acid required for cell culture and is essential for cell culture and biochemical research. In cell culture, glutamine maintains cell growth and metabolism, provides a carbon source for cells, and serves as a precursor for peptide and protein synthesis, purine and pyrimidine, as well as nucleic acid and nucleotide synthesis. In biochemical research, glutamine contributes to biomolecule synthesis and metabolic pathways.

L-glutamine is unstable in solution and degrades, with the degradation rate dependent on time, temperature and pH.
